The chalkboard look still seems to be going strong, especially in the world of card making. Stampin'UP! has a new Chalkboard Paper and Chalk Ink that are really amazing. I'm always the skeptic. I'm thinking, " I already have plenty of black card stock and my white craft ink pad can totally pull of the chalkboard look just fine." But then, it's Sale-A-Bration time, so I'm putting my order in and just $10 more would get me to another free product. This leads to the thought, "might as well try out the new Chalkboard Paper and Chalk Ink, because it looks great on page 13 in the SAB catalog with the Big Day Stamp Set that I'm going to get for FREE!"
As soon as I had a chance to use these two products together, I was a skeptic no more! The next card is made using my old chalkboard technique of white craft ink on black card stock. It's not as obvious in my photos as it is in person, but the Chalk Ink on the Chalkboard Paper is so much more crisp and vibrant. What do you think?
