Snowflake Spinner

Have you had a chance to make one of these flip cards? They look like they are really intricate and difficult to construct, but they really aren't.  The card base cuts like butter, and all the little coordinating dies that come with it are a lot of fun to play with. Some of said dies are difficult to 'pop' out once they've been cut. (I'm talking to you, skinny little snowflake!) Just grab your piercing tool and your patience, the outcome will be worth it!

The larger white snowflake is not an individual die, you have to rotate the card base die 90 degrees to cut the snowflake completely out.  Tami White has a great tutorial showing exactly how this is done.

I'm not one of those shop early, get hyped for the holiday that is still months away type of gal. But, when you see all of the great holiday stamps and accessories in the mini catalog, it's hard not to get swept up in the fun that comes with winter!
