Blessed and Lucky

Our family has been very blessed and lucky with the lot of preschool and elementary teachers (again!) this year.  I wish I could stuff a card with hundred dollar bills for each one of them, they certainly deserve much more than that.  I could do restaurant gift cards, but I really like to be a little bit different.  My ideas aren't always so Bible-belt friendly (a couple of years ago I gave out those adult beverages that look like capri-suns to some preschool teachers), but I think the receipients enjoy them.
My idea was to buy a bunch of $1 scratch off lottery tickets and stuff them in a card that expressed how lucky we've been to have had these amazing women as our teachers and bus drivers this year.  I didn't want it to look too much like a St. Patty's Day card, so this was the outcome.  If nothing else, they might have a little fun, maybe smile when they think of my kiddos, and maybe even get lucky on a scratch off!
