Football season is coming to a close.  For me, it means sending a $25 check to the winner of our family Pigskin Pick'em, the person who picked the most NFL wins throughout the season.  It's a wimpy version of fantasy football, and a friendly competition among cousins and aunts and uncles spread throughout the country, rooting for several different teams.

This year's winner, my husband's cousin, is a big Steelers fan.  The Steelers almost squeezed in, but didn't make it to the playoffs this year, so it looks like Lauren is about the only winner in Pittsburgh this season.  I love any excuse to make a card, and I have a feeling she'll appreciate it, especially since it's carrying money!

  • Paper:
    • Basic Black card stock - 5 1/2" x 8 1/2"
    • Silver Glimmer Paper- 3/4" x 5 1/2"
    • Basic Gray, Whisper White, Real Red, Summer Sun (retired), Brilliant Blue (retired) card stock
  • Tools and Accessories:
    • Circle Card Thinlit Die
    • Big Shot
    • 2 1/2 circle punch
    • 1"square punch, 1"circle punch ( To make the funky diamonds in the circle, I first punched a 1"square, and then used my circle punch on each side to make a diamond.  I temporarily adhered a thin strip of card stock to the square, so that I could easily position the card stock into the punch.)
