Quick Little Handmade Gift

I have a friend who makes cute little earrings from buttons.  I thought I'd give it a shot using some beautiful Stampin UP Antique Brads.  I purchased a bag of posts at the craft store and set to work on ripping the fastener off of the brads.  This was the hardest part of the whole process (well, that, and waiting for the adhesive to dry!!).  I used a small pair of pliers and eventually got the hang of twisting and pulling off the fasteners.  Next, I got out my handy Crystal Effects, if you are not aware of its adhesive powers, you are missing out.  It is my go-to adhesive when I want anything besides paper to stick together.

I cut a small rectangle of confetti white card stock and added a chipboard backing, the three pairs of earrings together were a bit to heavy for the card stock alone. I stamped a couple of bees in Crumb Cake ink from the Postage Collection Hostess set.  Now I just have to come up with some cute little packaging so it will be ready to give!
