I am always making birthday cards for the folks who work with me. It's really rare for us to meet each other in person, so I like to reach out where I can.
I was inspired by a recent Mojo Monday sketch. I often don't use design sketches because I can't put colors and patterns together to save my life. In this case, I used a set of DSP and pulled some plain colors out of it. DSP is like color-matching Garanimals!
I got the first card all the way cut out and THEN realized I didn't have a birthday stamp that was the right size. Argh!
Resourceful me checked My Digital Studio. Sure enough, there was the perfect stamp already in my palette. Print that out in a matching ink onto white cardstock, and voila. Cute card, done.
It was so cute that I made another, slightly simplified, for another friend. The first friend is bouncy and energetic; the second is chic and elegant. I think both cards fit their new owners well :-).
