I signed up for the fun little Paper Pumpkin deal back in August, because it was half price.  I am a sucker for a deal, every time, and StampinUP knows it!  And although it is October and I have yet to complete one of my Paper Pumpkin projects (that are no doubt so simple to throw together), I have really enjoyed the stamps that come with the them.

Who doesn't need a Wahoo! in their life?  At first, I was hoping to get to send a Wahoo! to my brother up in Cleveland, when the Indians won the world series.  Chief Wahoo is the mascot up there, double whammy!   That didn't happen, but he and his wife are expecting their first baby this spring, so there's a Wahoo!

I'm really feeling a Wahoo! today because I'm headed on a weekend road trip with some of my best buddies to the Country Living Fair in Stone Mountain, Georgia.  If you ever get a chance to hit one of these events You. Must. Go.  It's an amazing combination of craft show and antique market...and the setting in Stone Mountain is as beautiful and inspiring as all of the wares!

Because I still have a little packing to do, I needed a quick, one layer card.  Create With Connie and Mary have a color challenge that put me in the right direction.  This card came together so easily, I'm already thinking of more reasons to send Wahoos- maybe for graduation, using school colors?  Wahoo!

Hope your weekend is Wahoo!!!!

  • Very Vanilla card base
  • Wahoo! stamp from Paper Pumpkin September
  • Chevron Border Punch (my new fav!)
  • Gorgeous Grunge stamp set
  • Soft Sky card stock
  • Soft Sky and Raspberry Ripple ink
Baker's Tip:
I stamped off the blood spatter looking stamp.
