Are you aware?

If you are not aware that it is October, Breast Cancer Awareness month, then you must be living under a rock, or at least on some remote beach with no cable tv or internet access.  I jumped on the pink ribbon wagon when I realized that the ampersand sign from the Typeset Alphabet Bigz die looks very much like one of those ribbons if you cut off it's bottom.  One of my recent stamp set purchases left me with a great deal of extra rubber, so I decided to cut that rubber with my Big Shot and make my own ribbon stamp!
Sorry about the picture, I really didn't catch the Primrose Petals very well, it looks more pink in person.

I am very fortunate to not have a friend to send this to, and with all the heightened awarenss and research, maybe I won't ever have to send this card.  Not likely, but that ribbon is all about hope.

  • Crumb Cake card base
  • Confetti White card stock cut to 3 1/4" by 4 1/2"
  • strip of Primrose Petals card stock 4 1/2" long
  • Very Vintage JumboWheel stamp
  • Postage Collection Hostess stamp set
  • Basic Pearls
  • Typeset Alphabet Bigz Die
  • Extra Stampin Up rubber
  • Primrose Petals ink pad
Baker's tip- I "rolled" off my wheel before running it across the bottom third of the card stock, then rolled it across the middle, and finally the top, all without reinking.
