Christmas in July...ugh!

I honestly cannot even consider thoughts of the holidays when I am enjoying the pool and the popsicles and all the great things that go with SUMMER!!  However, when I got completely stuck with the birthday card I was working on, I started hopping around the web for some sketch ideas.  The Paper Players had a silly Christmas in July challenge, that I scoffed at and continued looking.  Then, I found a simple layout on the Mojo Monday Blog that piqued my interest.  Somehow, that Christmas in July theme had remained in my creative lobe, and this is what became of the two!

  • Pistachio Pudding card base
  • Whisper White card stock cut to 5 1/4" by 4"
  • Real Red card stock cut to 2" by 3 3/4"
  • In-color Designer Series Paper Stack cut to 1 1/4" by 4"
  • Baked Brown Sugar card stock cut to 1" by 4"
  • Baked Brown Sugar ink pad
  • Real Red, Baked Brown Sugar, and Pistachio Pudding markers
  • 1 3/4" circle punch
  • Happy Hour Stampin'UP! stamp set
  • Polka Dot embossing folder
  • Stamp-a-ma-jig

Cute card, Jen! I'm glad you went with a Christmas theme, but I know how you feel!

Such a fun card, Jen! I love Pistachio Pudding paired with Real Red, too. So pretty! Thank you so much for joining us this week at the Paper Players! :)
