Wetlands and a cool background technique!

I took a day trip to the beach yesterday with my kids, and their friends. The two hour trip to the coast was so worth it! Oh, what a glorious day! I had a hard time leaving because it was so beautiful there; I love the Carolina coast!
I have a pretty easy technique to share with you, that makes a great background setting. Add a silhouette stamp for a clean and simple card!
I not only made this card for you, my bakery friends; I'm excited to be sharing it on the SUDSOL blog hop that starts today!

To get this background look, color a clear block with Stampin' Write Markers, Spritz with water and then stamp onto Whisper White card stock. Let dry before stamping images on top of the background, and adhering to the card base.

I won't lie, it did take me a few times to get the right amount of water on the block, but I love the effect I was finally able to achieve.
