Postage Collection

The hostess stamp sets in the new catalog are really awesome.  When I saw Postage Collection, I had to have it, I dabble in some jewelry making techniques, and those small images are perfect for those kind of projects.  However, sometimes I struggle with the small images when I'm making a card.

I went with a collage look using one of the Labels Collection Framelits.  I first cut out the framelit in Very Vanilla, then used my paper cutter to to trim a little off the left and bottom.  I ran the other two colors through the Big Shot and hand-trimmed them, using the Vanilla piece as a guide.  Using the Very Vanilla piece to center the pieced-up die, I adhered everything to the card base on dimensionals.

  • Sahara Sand card base
  • Stampin'UP! Postage Collection- Hostess Set
  • Very Vanilla card stock
  • Pistachio Pudding card stock
  • Midnight Muse card stock
  • Pistachio Pudding, Midnight Muse, and Baked Brown Sugar ink pads
  • Chevron Embossing Folder
  • Mini Brad
  • Color Spritzer Tool with Pistachio Pudding marker (this tool is discontinued, but I will never let go of mine!)
