Everything Eleanor sympathy card

This card was inspired by the friend I'm giving it to. She once asked me to help her with a project that combined newsprint and watercoloring. We haven't worked on the project yet, but when I wanted to make something comforting for her this week, I started with newsprint. I knew I wanted to use flowers, so I pulled out several sets to choose from. I like the vintage look of these, from Everything Eleanor.

I was also inspired by a post about watercoloring card images. A few days later, Brian posted a card that's very similar to the one he inspired me to create. Get out of my head, Brian!

I outlined the image with an old Bordering Blue marker, and sponged the card edges and the sentiment die cut with Basic Black.
