CASE study: Punches and paper

When I'm not playing with ink and paper and glue, I lead an international team for a big company. On a call this week, I promised that I'd award the first person to answer a question a dollar. This card will be heading to Romania, with one American dollar tucked inside :-).

This card is a CASE from Pinterest (thank you, Inky Daisy!), but I knew there was no way I could freehand diamonds and have them come out any kind of good. I picked up the "mail" theme and used the postage stamp punch. Sponging the edges of my shapes helps unify all the papers and shows off the pretty edges.

  • Early Espresso
Stamp sets:
  • Sweet Essentials
Paper and card:
  • River Rock card base
  • Well Worn DSP (but you could use any DSP and coordinating colors, of course)
  • Postage Stamp punch
  • Sponge daubers

What a great card. Shows off the DSP, clean and simple and perfect for a guy.
