Moving Forward - Dear Friend

The stamp set "Moving Forward" is a wonderful set for fun and whimsical designs.  And it's this year's SU! Ronald McDonald stamp set so a portion of all sales goes to the Ronald McDonald House.  What a great way to give back to your community!
Moving Forward - Dear Friends card

When I started this card, I had a friend in mind who is currently going through chemotherapy.  Her constant battle reminds all of us that we need to keep "moving forward" and live our life fully.
Close Up of stamped image, flowers and DSP banners
To create the card, I started with a Calypso Coral card base and added the Two for Tea DSP layers in a banner fashion to the Lucky Limeade card stock layer which had been embossed using the Honeycomb Embossing Folder (a new favorite of mine).  Then I added the whimsical bike image to a Crumb Cake card stock layer which I cut out using the wonderful Ovals Collection Framelits.  For the final touch, I punched out some small flowers in Calypso Coral and Lucky Limeade using one of the punches from the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack and added some tiny rhinestone jewels to add a little shine and sparkle to the bike's basket.

So go out and live your life fully today!
