Magnificent Monday

Magnificent Monday Guest: Melanie Edwards!

Valentine's day is only a few days away, but it's not too late to make this special treat for a loved one.   This was easy to make using the Two Tags Die and the Mixed Medley stamp set.  The Mixed Medley stamp set is a Hostess set in this years catalog.
To make the treat holder, I folded a piece of card stock 2.5" x 8.25" and placed it on the die.  I was careful in placing the folded portion just above the bottom of the die.  This will create the treat holder.  Once this is cut out, I folded the top of one scallop down.  This is the portion that we will embellish with the punches and stamps.  To finish it off, I tied the treat holder together with a piece  1/8" ribbon.

This could easily be changed to suit any occasion; such as Easter or Christmas.  I want to thank you so much for having my as your guest this week.  I would love for you to come visit me over at my blog, Melanie Makes.

Happy crafting,
