Thanks for "Owl" You Do

A teacher appreciation luncheon is coming up this month at my daughter's preschool.  Of course, I am the crafty one who gets to make something to put on the fabulous lunches we make for the dedicated teachers and staff.  I came across a retired hostess set called "Picture This" and knew the phrase "Thanks for "OWL" (picture inserted instead of word) You Do" was the perfect phrase for these teachers and staff members.  I decided to create owls using Big Shot dies and punches and some retired card stock (gotta use it up at some point).  Check out the two bag toppers/bag attachments I made for the teachers and staff.  It was so much fun to play with the die cuts and punches to make this cute animal...an owl.

"Picture This" stamp set - a retired hostess set
3 1/2" Circle Big Shot die
1 3/8" Circle Punch for cutting a dip in the owl's head
Scallop Circles #2 Big Shot die - retired for the owl's wings
1 3/8" Circle Punch & 3/4" Circle Punch for the owl's eyes
Boho Blossoms Punch for the owl's feet
1" Square Punch for the owl's beak (I cut a piece of card stock into a triangle using the square punch to make sure my edges look sharp and even.)
Top Note Big Shot die for the "thanks for 'owl' you do" message
