Love & Sympathy

For some reason, I really struggle with sympathy cards.  Mostly, my struggle is with writing my condolences on the inside, but sometimes I have a hard time with the design and color scheme, too.  The stamp set Love & Sympathy makes it pretty easy to come up with a simple handmade card to send to a grieving loved one.  The painted flower image works great with markers, and it's not too girly of a flower that you can't use it to send to a man.  The sentiments that come with the set are very nice, too.  The quote by Sylvana Rossetti gives me a little prompting on what I might write on the inside.  Or, you could stamp the other sentiment on the front, Sending Love and Sympathy, and then stamp the quote on the inside.

Ingredients:
  • Love & Sympathy stamp set
  • Midnight Muse card base
  • Crumb Card card stock cut to 5 1/4" by 4"
  • Whisper White card stock cut to 5" by 3 3/4"
  • Midnight Muse marker
  • Old Olive marker
  • Early Espresso stamp pad
  • Linen Thread
