For the Birds Birthday

The new year is nearly here. It's time (if you haven't already) to update your 2013 calendar with birthdays. For the Birds is such a cute stamp set, with sentiments for all occasions. This layout works great for all the images in the stamp set. I love that this stamp has a coordinating stamp for the inside, with the words "it's your birthday".

Bold Brights are always a good bet for birthday card colors. I love that Stampin' Up! offers this matching Designer Series Paper and Brights Buttons. Everything matches, so I don't have to take the time to try to match up products. Simplicity at it's best!

The grass was made using the Scallop Edge Punch. I punched it several times without matching up the scallop design.
