Joyous Celebration Tags

A few days ago, I got an email from one of my favorite stampers, and she was concerned that she was seeing way too many cute ideas on this blog.  I totally agree with her, this bakery, as with most bakeries, is a very dangerous place to visit, especially if you're hungry for crafty cuteness!
We were both very inspired by Jenny's Jolly Bingo Bit tags, featured earlier this week.  I decided to knock out a few tags using the Perfect Pennants die and the Joyous Celebrations stamp set.

I used a variety of card stock and ink pads in the traditional Christmas color scheme: Real Red, Cherry Cobbler, and Old Olive.  I also used a variety of circle punches to add a few layers here and there.  Bakers twine and ribbon, (some threaded through the scalloped holes) make it easy to tie to any present, or even use as an ornament!  And how could I resist adding a little shimmer when Stampin'UP! has so many sparkly options?!?  I used the Silver Glimmer Paper, Rhinestones, and Cherry Cobbler Dazzling Details.
