A Little Holiday Sparkle

Add a little shimmer and shine to your holiday cards this year with a little bit of glimmer paper.

To create this card, use the Holiday Frame Embossing Folder to emboss a 4" x 5 1/4" Whisper White piece of card stock.  Attach to a 4 1/4" x 11" Old Olive card base; scored at 5 1/2".  Cut out two of the same ornament out of Silver Glimmer Paper using the Holiday Ornaments Framelit dies and a Big Shot machine.  Cut one of the ornaments in half and use the Scallop Trim Border Punch to punch out a fancy edge to the bottom of the ornament half.  Cover the ornament half with Old Olive ink by using a sponge dauber dipped in Old Olive ink refill.  You can also use a sponge dauber on your ink pads but it will leave some glitter from the glitter paper on your ink pad if you choose this method.  Sponge the Old Olive ink all over the ornament half.  Let it dry for awhile or use a heat tool to heat set the ink.  Attach the Old Olive ornament half to the silver ornament using a dimensional.  Add the ornament to the card with dimensionals and add rhinestones to the Old Olive ornament half to add a bit more sparkle.  Add an Old Olive ribbon tied in a knot or a bow above the ornament using a glue dot.  This will make it seem like the ornament is hanging from the center of your Whisper White Holiday Frame layer.  Now your holiday card has a lot more sparkle!
