Take Care

I've seen some really cute cards made with the stamp set Take Care, but most of them use the wood image as a branch.  I saw a card made by Penny Smiley, another Stampin'UP! demonstrator, and she used the wood as a tree trunk.  Just goes to show how versatile a stamp set can be!

Ingredients:

  • Lucky Limeade card base
  • Chocolate Chip card stock cut to 5 1/4" by 4"
  • Whisper White card stock cut to 5" by 3 3/4"
  • Take Care stamp set
  • Chocolate Chip ink pad
  • Bird Builder punch on Lucky Limeade card stock
  • Summer Smooches DSP
  • Brights Designer Buttons
  • Perfect Pennants Bigz die
Baker's Tip:
I put a tiny bit of two-way glue on my scalloped 'tree top' and placed it where I wanted it to be on the white card stock and then stamped the trunk image.  I then removed the 'tree top' and adhered it with dimensionals.  I also scored the leaves after I stamped and punched them out.
