Blooming with Fall Colors

Have you ever fallen in love with a color combination?  When trying to come up a color to go with Stampin' Up's New In Color Raspberry Ripple, I went to my trusty Color Coach for ideas and came across an unusual color combo that now I absolutely love....Raspberry Ripple and Perfect Plum!  It adds a warmth to cards and seems perfect for the fall season.  Here is a card I modified from Mercedes Weber's original design.  Her card used Cajun Craze with Summer Starfruit.  Her card creations are wonderful to look at and even copy since they look so elegant.

The card I made uses the new color combination (Raspberry Ripple and Perfect Plum) that I LOVE! and adds some dimension with the stamp set going onto another Whisper White layer on the card.  I have used this technique a few times in the last month and just love how it turns out.  Give it a try and you may just love it too!

Whenever I am stuck in a creative rut, I copy another card layout that I love and usually change out the stamp set and color combinations to help me get my creative juices going.  For this card, I changed up the Raspberry Ripple background layer by using the Framed Tulips Embossing Folder and created another version of the same card using the color combination of Raspberry Ripple and Summer Starfruit.
