A Day of Gratitude

Today finds me reflecting on wonderful things...my family has decided to begin a few new rules and traditions in our home.  One of our new "fun" rules was to spend more time together by picking fun family activities to do at home or away from home.  This past Sunday we chose to participate in the National Heart Walk to promote living a healthier and more active life as a family.  The whole family participated in the 1-mile walk (even my 7-year old and my almost 4-year old).  There was a 3-mile walk option but we thought this may be too much for the kids at this point.
So proud of my family for completing the 1-mile walk!
Part of our new rules and attitude on life is to be more grateful for all we have.  I am grateful for having such a wonderful family (even when they drive me crazy :) and having a flexible job that allows me to spend time with my kids and to use my creativity whenever I want.  I love being a SU! demonstrator!  Here is an example of one of those fall cards that I saw in the SU! catalog and just had to copy.  I loved the color combination and the use of the Day of Gratitude stamp set (one of my favs). Try out this color combination or card layout and I hope you find something to be grateful for today.

Here I started adding layers to the card base.  I think it makes a cute fall card just like this as well.
Card CASEd from SU! Catalog p. 26.  Love this color combo for fall!
