Lazy Gal's Challenge

This age of the wonderful worldwide web we live in can provide so much inspiration right at your fingertips.  There are tons of fabulous blogs out there that offer color challenges, layout challenges, product challenges, theme challenges, the list goes on and on.
Wanna know what challenged and inspired me for this card?  Laziness.  I wanted to make a card without having to leave my seat here at my work space.  The organized mess that surrounds me made it very easy.  There is a pile of scrap card stock in varying sizes and colors strewn to the right of my computer.  To the left, I have stacks of stamp sets, some in their proper cases, many more of them turned upside down with ink still on them.  Most of my cutting tools, adhesives, and accessories are actually in their proper places in the drawers of my desk.  I could even reach my markers if I.....really........str....e.......tch!
Now, if only there was some way the dinner dishes could get washed while I sit here on my butt.

Now isn't that great use of a scrap of card stock?

  • Real Red card base
  • Baja Breeze card stock cut to 5" by 3"
  • Whisper White card stock cut to 4" by 4".  Stamp your image near the top of the sheet, then tear the card stock at about an inch from the bottom.  Reattach the torn piece. then you have a nice little 'layer' of snow under your men.
  • Stampin UP Frosty Friends stamped with Stazon ink.
  • Sweet Essentials stamped in Stazon ink.
  • Bright Buttons in Real Red, Bakers Twine in Pool Party, and Dazzling Details
  • Real Red, Baja Breeze, and Pumpkin Pie markers used to color in the snow men.
