Card Café Virtual Card Swap - Week 6

Paper Piecing is the theme for this weeks virtual swap. Paper piecing adds such a nice, professional look to an image! This is a simple technique that we often forget about.

To get this look, use an outlined style stamp set. Stamp your image onto your card stock, and again onto a different shade of card stock or Designer Series Paper. Cut out selected pieces and glue on top of your image on your card. In the sample below, both the wagon and the bird are paper pieced.

We now have an easier way for bloggers to participate in Card Café! Make your sample and use the Linky Tool below to link to your blog. If you want to participate and don't have a blog, email your submission to pinkpaperbakery@gmail.com by 3:00pm (Eastern Time) on Friday. You will no longer have to wait to see your card go up on Saturday! Your card will be posted within 24hrs (most likely same day).

  • Your card must be made with Stampin' Up! products (retired Stampin' Up! products are okay).
  • Bloggers must use a post within the challenge week.
Grab a badge for your blog!

We can't wait to see what you create!

This was a thank you card received in the mail from Salina Kohut, for her baby shower gift.
Love that she happened to use paper piecing!
