Just Having Fun

Have you ever seen something and immediately had a craft idea?  When I first saw A Fitting Occasion stamp set, I knew that I would use the little bitty images as buttons and/or with buttons on cards.  How cute would it be to get a button with a little pig face or a baby elephant on it?  I just think they looked so precious and began to think of all the ways I could justify getting this new stamp set.  I began with making a simple and easy ladybug card (see picture below) and then moved on to playing with the Button Button stamp set and adding images from A Fitting Occasion stamp set (see additional picture below).

When I first made this card I didn't think it looked great but it helped to get my creative juices going.  I definitely wanted to use some new color combinations and began to play around with the 2011-2013 In Colors and Daffodil Delight.  I started with a simple "thinking of you" greeting and randomly stamped the buttons all over the Whisper White layer in different colors.  Then I added stamped images that I had punched out with the 3/4" Circle punch and popped them up with dimensionals.  I wasn't too excited when I made this card but it has slowly grown on me as a cute and easy "thinking of you" card that I could make in a hurry.
