Adding A Little Something

Why is it everywhere I look lately (Pinterest, Better Homes and Gardens magazine, Storage magazine, Stampin' Up! catalogs and more) all I see is the Argyle design on cards, clothes, crafting projects and fabric?  To be honest, it was not a "must have" when I first saw the new 2012-2013 Stampin' Up! Catalog.  All I could think of was a few argyle sweaters I have owned over the past few years that I will never again wear.  But after seeing it everywhere I looked, I decided to give it a try.  I chose to use it on this card with the Papillon Potpourri stamp set since it needed "a little something" and I am so glad I did!  I love how it helps add dimension to the card and gives it a whole different look than a plain Whisper White card layer would have.  So the next time you need to add "a little something" but don't know what to change about your card, try using one of Stampin' Up!'s Textured Impressions Embossing Folders on your plain card layer.  You won't be disappointed!

Used Elegant Butterfly punch to add dimension to the top and bottom butterflies.  Butterflies are popped up with dimensionals.

Ingredients:
Papillon Potpourri stamp set #123757 WM or #123759 CM
Elegant Butterfly Punch #127526
Argyle Textured Impressions Embossing Folder #127750
Lucky Limeade Baker's Twine #125572
Tempting Turquoise, Lucky Limeade & Island Indigo ink pads
Lucky Limeade & Whisper White card stock
