2 for 1!

You are in luck! I have two cards to share with you today. I didn't want to drive you crazy with Halloween (my son already thinks I'm nuts, or a weirdo, as he calls me - gotta love a teenage boy!) but you all know how I'm addicted to the Great Pumpkin Blog Hop. So, I created a very simple masculine birthday card for you too!

I'll start with the very simple, From My Heart, masculine birthday. No bling, nothing girly, and straight to the point. This card is a piece of cake to make!
  • From My Heart stamp set
  • Early Espresso card stock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" (fold for base)
  • Midnight Muse card stock 3 1/4" x 4 1/4"
  • Very Vanilla card stock 3" x 4"
  • Comfort Cafe Designer Series Paper - 2pcs 1" x 2" (nobody will know it's not a continuous piece, and what can I say? I'm cheap!)
  • Midnight Muse Classic ink
  • Stampin' Dimensionals
Okay, so now it's time for my, week 5 of 13, Great Pumpkin Blog Hop entry! I know it's another card, but I have wicked plans for next week! Hopefully I will be successful and be able to share with you next week.

  • Wicked Cool stamp set
  • Basic Gray card stock - 4 1/4" x 11" (fold for base) and 1" x 2"
    • run 1" x 2" through Big Shot with Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder, sponge with Basic Black ink
  • Basic Black card stock - 2" x 4" and 2 1/4 x 3 3/4"
    • run 2" x 4" through Big Shot with Stripes embossing folder
  • Rich Razzleberry card stock - 2" x 3 3/4"
    • run through Big Shot with Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder
  • Whisper White card stock - 2" x 3 1/2"
  • Stampin' Write Markers: Basic Black, Rich Razzleberry, Daffodil Delight, and Pumkin Pie
  • Ink Pad: Basic Black
  • 1/8" Basic Black Taffeta Ribbon
  • Stamp-a-ma-jig
Baker's Tip: I did mask off areas around the candelabra to minimize the size of the spider web. The Stamp-a-ma-jig is a must (in my opinion)!

Nice cards! I'm glad you joined the party this week! I've been waiting to see what you've come up with. I love that you cut apart the words, as well as the embossing. It's a very cool Halloween card! As for the first man card, I think it works for a guy, it's easy to mail (no additional stamps!), and is straightforward. Thanks for adding your card to The Great Pumpkin Blog Hop!
