Serene Silhouettes

I don't know about you, but my family doesn't know the definition of 'serene'. Lucky for me, I have a little guest bedroom that doubles as a crafty getaway.  I can just pull this stamp set out and hold it, and it brings me a little bit of peace. A lot of times, I really don't have any idea where I'm going when I pull out a fairly new stamp set.  I just grab a stamp pad and some white card stock and start stamping!

Do you have the new butterfly punch?  I love it!  After I stamped the image once on my white rectangle, I stamped it again on another piece of white card stock, then punched it out with the butterfly punch.  Next, I sponged a little Early Espresso around the edges to make it stand out ever so slightly.  I folded the butterfly in half and adhered one side so that the stamped images lined up.

  • Crumb Cake card base
  • Early Espresso card stock cut to 5" by 3 3/4"
  • Butterfly punch
  • Gumball Green card stock cut to 3 1/8" by 3 3/4"
  • Whisper White card stock cut to 3 1/4" by 2 1/4", edges are roughed up a little with scissors.
  • Serene Silhouettes stamp set
  • Sweet Essentials stamp set
  • Early Espresso ink pad
