Stampin' Up! Engagement or Wedding

A little shimmer goes a long way! I wish you could see this card in person. It is so pretty and shimmery! Fun and simple, perfect for an engagement or wedding.

Ingredients:

  • Crumb Cake card stock cut at 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 (fold)
  • Calypso Coral card stock cut at 5 1/4 x 4
  • Whisper White card stock cut at 5 x 3 3/4 (run through the big shot with the "Elegant Lines" embossing folder. (119277)
  • Scallop Oval (119859) punch in Crumb Cake
  • Greeting from "Love & Laughter" (125475)  stamp set inked in Crumb Cake on Whisper White and punched with the 1 3/4 x 7/8 oval (119855)
  • Butterflies in Calypso Coral from the "Beautiful Wings" embosslits (118138)
  • Rhinestone jewel on butterfly. (119246)
  • After the card is assembled, spray with shimmer. (See bakers tip)
Bakers Tip:

I make my shimmer spray with rubbing alcohol in the Stampin Mist bottle. Put your Stampin Mist in a travel size hairspray bottle. Something about the Stampin Mist bottle gives even coverage and perfect for a shimmer spray. Fill bottle 3/4 full with rubbing alcohol and 5-6 drops of Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint (116806). Make sure to shake the bottle before you spray your card to keep the shimmer paint from settling. *Your card will be spotted at first but then the rubbing alcohol will evaporate* This is a great way to bling up any card!
