A Girly Birthday Card
The Patterned Party stamp set has become a new favorite of mine. It's so fun and really gets me excited for creating a birthday card. While fellow demos from this blog and other local demos went on a Stampin' Retreat recently, we were challenged by the coordinator, Kim Allen to create 4 different types of cards (2 color challenges and 2 layout challenges). As I was making a color challenge card, I began to feel the colors were definitely girly and I knew right away who I would be making this birthday card for...my daughter, Maddie. This card is soooo her with the bright colors and playful stamp images. I just had to add the number 4 on top of the Happy Birthday To You banner and some pearls to the ribbon on some of the packages. What girl doesn't love some jewels on her birthday? I can't wait to give her this card on her birthday even if her birthday isn't until December 31st!
