Wednesday night, our wonderful group of demonstrators got together for a shoebox swap. (Each person designs a card, and then cuts all the materials so that everyone who attends can make the card. You show up with a 'shoebox' full of materials, then come home with your shoebox filled with beautiful cards designed by your friends and stamped by you!) Quite a few of us went with the vintage style cards, like those that Deena posted yesterday. I played around with a new set, Everything Eleanor, that will be available on June 1st with the new catalog. It's a pretty stamp set, that really grows on you once you start playing around with it. I also used one of the new in-colors, Primrose Petals, also available on June 1st. Stampin'UP! has redesigned their ink pads, and let me tell you: THEY ARE AWESOME! Ask your friendly neighborhood demonstrator to introduce you to them. If you're like me, you'll be ready to replace all your pads with the new style.
