Season of Friendship

This is the time of year that I pull my soon-to-be retiring sets (or in this case, Alicia's ☺) and think, why the heck haven't I been using this cute set all year long! The truth is, I've been wanting to borrow this stamp set, and after viewing the retiring list, I had to make a phone call to Alicia so I could borrow it before it's not current anymore. I may have to permanently borrow this one! Retiring sets are only available through May 31.

I've been wanting to make this card ever since I saw it on Stampin' Connection (demo site), made by Mary Brown. Normally I change something on cards that I copy, but I loved this one so much that I made it exactly the way she did. Don't you think it would be fun to use different base colors to suit the season? The ladies who attend my Coffee & Cards event in May will get to make this card.

  • Season of Friendship (111776 - only available through May 31!)
  • Sahara Sand, Pear Pizzazz, and Basic Black class ink pads.
  • Pink Pirouette card stock - 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 (fold)
  • Whisper White card stock - 1 3/4 x 4 1/2 and 2 x 4 3/4
  • Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack (118309)
  • Basic Pearls (119247) - I'm addicted to these!
  • Stampin' Dimensionals - added between the white layers.
