Homemade Sweetheart Valentine's

If you can't tell by now, I love Valentine's Day! My 5 year old son and I are making these for his Kindergarten class. Easy, cute and sure to be a hit! It opens like a card so he can write his valentine message.

Make your own!
  • Real Red card stock cut at 5 1/2" x 2 3/4" (fold)
  • Stamped "be mine" from the Sweetheart stamp set (120415) in Real Red ink onto Whisper White card stock cut at 2 1/2" square (I used a small amount of snail and lightly attached it to the base and using the large heart punch, punched through both sheets).
  • Kitchen foil cut at 2" square adhere to Real Red card stock.
  • Place your choice of candy in heart treat cups (120435) through the Whisper White and adhere to foil.
                                                                 Taa Daaaa!

To make a bunch I recommend
  • Cut a full 8 1/2 x 11 piece of card stock score at 2 3/4" from both ends (paper laying laterally)
  • Cut sheet in half at 5 1/2 (Should have 2 sheets at 5 1/2 x 8 1/2)
  • Cut the 8 1/2" side into (qty 3) 2 3/4" x 5 1/2" pieces
  • One sheet of card stock should give you (6) 2 3/4" x 5 1/2" pieces.
